The Implant Process

A dental implant replaces a single tooth, but you can also get an entire arch of teeth replaced using a dental implant and dentures combination called All-on-4®

Post & Abutment

Dental implant posts are made oftitanium or zirconia, both of which are biocompatible metals that fuse with your jawbone, taking the place of tooth roots. Nobel Dental uses the industry-leading dental implant systems, including those from Straumann®, Nobel Biocare®, and Astra®

Crown

The crown is actually your whole new porcelain tooth. Nobel Dental’s a state-of-the-art digital scanning system gathers the precise information needed to make a perfectly fitted new tooth (or teeth) to attach to the implant post. Working hand-in-hand, an oral surgeon places the implant post in your jaw. Then, Dr. Nobel takes over to fit your new crown(s) in place.

All-on-4 Complete Arch

All-on-4 is a complete upper or lower tooth arch supported by four dental implants. Your oral surgeon places the dental implants in four key positions in the arch where they’re most effective as support. Then, a permanent denture arch is attached to the implants for a flawless-looking arch replacement.

Nobel - All-on-4-Complete Arch
Depending on your needs, you can also get All-on-6 (six implants) or other variations of this system. NobelDental can work with the oral surgeon to place your new replacement arch on the same day as implant installation.

How Are Implants Superior to Dentures?

Dentures stay in place through suction, which means they’re often quite vulnerable to shifting. They also require a fairly extensive daily cleaning routine to prevent bacteria transfer when you put the dentures in.

Dental implants, whether a single implant or a full arch (like All-on-4,) remain permanently in your mouth. There’s no shifting, sliding, or falling out.
